Li Edilkoort quotes etc
Who decides what will be the nest big thing? Style forecaster, will predict what you’ll be wearing, watching and doing.
A person such as ‘Li Edilkoort, the Mystic Meg of the manufacturing world.’ (Chantel’s hand out). Li is a forecaster, working with most of the top manufacturing names (and even governments) to bring order to the future. Although what she does is more a science than an art, Li frequently starts with colour and her foundation is that total unquantifiable human assets, intuition. Not that of her clients, but of her own.
‘The ideas I develop aren’t mine. The idea isn’t a creative process. It’s how it’s handled that is the creative part’ (Chantel’s hand out).
'Her team clearly adore her but she has a starange intensity and inner calm that marks her out from their restless, chattering enthusiasm.'
'it's like doing a jigsaw, a peice is missing - you must find teh fragment to compltete the picture.'
'Li Eldelkoort really believes she has seen the future - ans some very hard-noosed business exectives feel she's right.'

So it is with creativity
So it is with Trevor Sorbie'.

have come up with a good concept for my dual fuction, of the olsen project
with the idea of a clothing store which targets the middle market,
i have gone with the idea of creating a new label within the company,
red label <> for textile recycling
this new label will target the middle market with design to suit them, whilst also having a personal specialised market which customer can bring in there favourite pair of jeans & have them made in to dazling skirt or visa versa.

... "However I was so impressed and astounded at the detail, by the way the building reflects the company’s philosophies. For example, the way it conservers the environment by generating its own electricity. An insight I owe to a member of your staff who took a moment of her time, to explaining the magic behind the fabric of this building.
The issues which your building confronts has made a big impact on me, as a designer I feel that establishments should work to be more than just a façade. At present I see your store, being an attractive example of achieving a leading approach to the outlook of retail. " ...
